DIY Jewellery Drawer Insert for Jewellery Organisation
Jewellery is often one of our most cherished and precious possessions. Whether it's a sentimental heirloom or an everyday accessory, keeping our jewellery organised and accessible makes getting ready a little easier.
One effective and easy solution that I use, is to create a jewellery drawer insert from Amazon jewellery trays. Here are a few points to consider before you get started on this project:
The versatility of drawers
Any drawer can be turned into a jewellery drawer. If you have an unused or underutilised drawer, repurpose it to organise your jewellery. This could be in a wardrobe, beside your bed or in another room - whatever makes the most sense for you.
Measure your drawers
Before you begin, take measurements of the drawer you’re turning into your jewellery drawer. This will ensure that you can buy a jewellery insert that is the best fit while maximising the use of space and preventing unnecessary movement.
Consider your jewellery collection
Take inventory of your jewellery. Think about the types of jewellery you own, such as necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, watches etc. Consider the size of each piece and its specific storage requirements.

Materials
I used the Stackable Leather Jewellery Tray from Amazon and took the insert out of the leather tray. Don’t worry, the tray isn’t wasted, I use these for office organisation. I had to trim mine slightly to get a good fit, but it looked great in the end.
