Exploring Wall Sconce Lighting Options
Lighting is a critical element in interior design, and it can make or break the ambiance of a space.
Wall sconces have earned their rightful place as a popular choice for renovators who are wanting to elevate their home's aesthetics. They’ve been a game changer for our reno!
From creating focal points to accentuating architectural features, wall sconces have become an indispensable asset in modern interior design.
Here are two wall sconces we have recently added to our renovation that we love:
Picture lights & art lighting
Picture lights are a fun & easy way to elevate a space and add interest.
Not only do they add interest to a room by introducing light and texture into a space, but they also highlight and accentuate artwork and photos (or like us, our artwork TV).
We chose to put a picture light above our art TV to elevate the wall and showcase the TV as ‘art’ when it’s switched off. It helps to disguise the ‘black box’ and brings in a touch of brass to tie in with other elements in the room.
These picture light is hardwired and will need to be installed by an electrician.
Wall lamp
When designing our office feature wall, I knew I wanted to draw attention to it with a fluted glass wall lamp.
This is such a great way to bring depth to your design and give yourself the option to have soft light when you need it.
